This seamless transition will innovate the way you communicate with your fans. If you’re a current user, there are no changes to the way you do things. We anticipate moving to this new platform within the next few weeks. The short code (83200) remains the same, the costs are the same for the service you have received, but you now have the opportunity to take advantage of many new features:
- MMS (Picture Messaging) – You will have the ability to send MMS messages rather than only SMS.
- Emojis – You have the opportunity to send SMS messages with hundreds of your fan favorite emoji’s.
- Character Limit – Your messages can now contain up to 300 characters instead of the 160 you have been limited to.
- Dashboard – You have access to a custom dashboard, showing you all your fans, open rates, click through rates, and more
- Customized URL – for a very small annual fee, you can save characters on your messages by taking advantage of a dynamic URL shortener.
- Poll your fans – You can poll your fans with the ability for them to reply based on a 1-5 star rating.
- Data Collection – Use SMS to collect feedback from fans about their game experience
- Long codes – for a small yearly fee you can take advantage of new long codes. Long codes allow you to have a two-way conversation with fans. You can use these for ticket sales, donations, or perhaps in-game fan experience.
